NEM ‘s goal is to focus the Rare Earth Materials that are needed to move forward with proven mines around the world that can provide the materials necessary to take hybrid vehicles,  electric vehicles, and other earth saving technologies to reality. New Energy Metals Corp is a private BC corporation that is in the business of acquiring, exploring and developing properties that contain resources of rare earth elements and associated strategic metals.

The objective is to list NEMC on the TSX Venture Exchange within 12 months, on the basis of one or both of its two most prospective acquisition targets.

One target is a large mineralized complex located in the central United States, which has been extensively explored during 1970s/80s, and contains immense values of Rare Earth Elements, Phosphates, Niobium and Thorium.  This operation can provide a major domestic source of these strategic elements to the United States, who is at present forced to import 100% of their rare earth element and niobium supplies.

One target is a fully-permitted and final feasibility stage mine development in South Africa that contemplates the initial production of 5,000 tonnes each of Rare Earth Elements and Thorium per year over a 10-year period.

The Company will commission National Instrument 43-101 Technical Reports on these properties, and undergo the listing application process.

The long-term objective is to continue to develop these properties into a large mining operations, producing significant quantities of rare earth elements, phosphate, niobium and thorium.
